Welcome to MyMusicPlayground, where we bring back the
word PLAY into music and piano education.
Together, we will:
- DANCE to develop rhythmic sense and the understanding of musical structure.
- LISTEN creatively to age appropriate music of a wide range of genre to experience rich musical harmonies.
- SING familiar and new songs in the musical language of Solfege to develop perfect pitch and by-ear instrumental playing.
- PLAY various instruments in a group setting and with musical backing so instrumental learning becomes a fun and sociable activity.
Your music teacher is a Music Therapist who uses a combination of Orff, Kodaly andDalcroze methods. She has been a Licensed Kindermusik Educator and Yamaha Teacher.
Many students at My Music Playground are introduced to song-writing and music composition from the very early stages of their music education.
Seashells was written by six year old Jasmine Petty.

4 years old Emma Loon performs Allegro by Mozart, a Grade one ABRSM piece.
Emma has been learning for 8 months.
